Who we are

Woodpecker Carpentry is a trading name of WOOD MASCOT DESIGNS LTD (company no. HE451581, VAT no. CY60036294J), Dositheou, Shop 1, 8025 Paphos, Cyprus. Email info@woodpeckercarpentry.com.cy, phone +357 99 976 902. We are the controller of the personal data described here.

What we collect

When you call us, message us on WhatsApp, email us or send a project brief from this site, we receive what you choose to share: usually your name, contact details, the project location, measurements, photos and a budget guide. The project planner on this site does not send anything by itself. It prepares a message that you then send through WhatsApp or your own email app.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, carry out and invoice the work, and keep the records the law requires. We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to.

Who else handles it

WhatsApp (Meta) or your email provider carries the messages you send us. Cloudflare hosts this website. Google (Analytics and Ads) measures visits to the site and the results of our ads, only if you accept cookies. Our accountant receives invoicing records. Some of these providers may process data outside Cyprus; where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within two years. Project and invoice records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law require.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site, and Google Ads to see whether our ads bring enquiries. These tools set cookies only if you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics or advertising cookies are set. Google may still receive basic signals without cookies, such as that a page was viewed, which do not identify you.

Your browser also remembers your language and your cookie choice. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page. How Google uses this data is explained at policies.google.com.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive a copy of it. Write to info@woodpeckercarpentry.com.cy and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy).
