Why winter is the right time
After a long, hot summer most pergolas, decks and fences are grey, dry and starting to split. If the wood is not sealed before the rains, water soaks in, boards swell and warp, and fixings start to rust. A maintenance visit in November to February costs far less than replacing damaged timber in spring.

2. We visit, check the timber and fixings, and give you a clear price for cleaning, oiling and any repairs.
3. Our own carpenters do the work, usually in one or two days, and leave everything clean and sealed.

Common questions
How often should a pergola or deck be oiled? In the Cyprus sun, every one to two years. Decks and fences that face south or get pool water usually need it every year.
Can you fix a grey, dry deck? Usually yes. We clean and sand off the grey layer, replace any boards that are split or soft, and oil it so the colour comes back.
Do you repair structures you did not build? Yes. We look after any outdoor timber in Paphos district, whoever built it.
